1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup olive oil
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 tablespoon lemon zest

Combine warm water and yeast in a bowl; let sit until frothy, about 5-10 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, cardamom, and orange zest.

Add the yeast mixture, milk, eggs, and olive oil to the dry ingredients; mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1-2 hours.
