Line an 8x8" (20x20 cm) square pan with parchment, allowing extra paper on the sides for easier removal.
Chop white chocolate into small pieces.
Microwave white chocolate for 20-25 seconds, then mix.
Repeat microwaving until completely smooth; this took 4 rounds.
Be careful not to overheat the white chocolate; some oil separation is normal.
Mix the melted white chocolate until smooth, even if it looks lumpy and separated.
Chop Oreo cookies into chunks.
Mix the brownie batter until mostly combined with a couple of flour spots remaining.
Add the chopped white chocolate to the brownie batter and mix until combined, being careful not to overmix; then cover and set aside in the fridge while preparing the cheesecake topping.
Sift matcha powder into white sugar to minimize clumps and mix until evenly combined, then set aside.
Mix softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add the matcha sugar mixture to the cream cheese and mix until smooth, being careful not to overmix.
Seal the side flaps of the parchment with a little brownie batter.
Evenly spread the brownie batter onto the lined pan.
Leave the brownie batter in the fridge overnight for a thicker mixture.
Line the Oreo cookies over the spread brownie batter.
Pour and spread the cheesecake batter over the Oreos.
Use a toothpick to pop air bubbles in the cheesecake batter.
Drop the pan a couple of times to settle the batter.
Bake in a preheated 325°F oven for 40 minutes; the top should be slightly puffed but not browned when done.
After baking, cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 6 hours or until completely firm.
Using a warm knife, cut into squares, cleaning the knife between each cut.
