In a separate bowl, whisk the egg with a pinch of salt and water for the base.
Layer the apple filling in a 16 cm (6.3 in) round pan lined with parchment paper.
Spread the crumble mixture over the apple filling evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
