In a large zip bag, pour in 300g (2 ½ cups) of all-purpose flour.
Add 50g (¼ cup) of sugar to the bag.
Sprinkle in 7g (2 teaspoons) of dried yeast.
Add ¼ teaspoon of salt to the mixture.
Crack in one egg and add a splash of vanilla extract.
Pour in 120ml (½ cup) of milk.
Seal the zip bag tightly and massage it with your hands to mix everything together.
Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free spot for about 1 hour.
After 1 hour, take out the dough and carefully open the bag.
Add 70g (5 tablespoons) of room-temperature butter to the bag.
Press down on the bag with your hands to blend the butter into the dough.
Let the dough rise again in a warm place until it expands.
In a bowl, add 100g (½ cup) of room-temperature butter.
Mix in 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and drizzle in 2 tablespoons of honey.
Whisk everything together until well combined to achieve a smooth mixture.
Spread the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper and fold the parchment on all sides to create an envelope.
Pop this in the refrigerator until it firms up.
Once firm, take the dough out and line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
Transfer the risen dough into the air fryer basket and spread it out evenly using your hands.
Cover it with a kitchen towel and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
Check on the chilled frosting by unfolding the envelope and cutting the mixture into smaller pieces.
Remove the kitchen towel from the dough and sprinkle on your favorite seed mix.
Gently press small indentations into the dough and fill each indentation with a piece of the frosting prepared earlier.
Insert the basket into the air fryer and cook at 160°C (320°F) for about 25 minutes.
Carefully remove the basket from the air fryer when done.
Optionally, drizzle a little honey on top for added sweetness.
