Whole grain flour adds more nutrients and fiber.
olive oil

Salt can be adjusted or omitted for dietary needs.

Filtered water can enhance flavor.
Gradually add warm water into the flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, to form a nice soft dough.
Form the dough into a ball and let it rest for at least 15 minutes.
For herbed unleavened bread, use thyme and oregano along with flour and warm water, using the same technique as the plain version.
After resting, form the dough into medium to large pieces.
Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough to the desired size.
Cook the flattened dough in a skillet with no oil, flipping until the desired color is achieved.
For the plain unleavened bread, place it in the skillet and flip when small bubbles form, continuing to flip until fully cooked.
