Beef Kabobs

1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 cup cherry tomatoes
8 oz mushrooms, halved
1 red onion, cut into wedges
1/4 cup Italian dressing
8 bamboo skewers (soaked in water if wooden)

Soak bamboo skewers in water to prevent burning on the grill.

Prepare vegetables and meat by cutting them into pieces that are not too large to ensure even cooking.

Slice portabella mushrooms in half if they are larger than traditional white mushrooms.

Slice red onion and place a couple of slices on the skewer.

Load the skewers starting with a piece of meat, then alternating with vegetables, ensuring to add another piece of meat every couple of items for protein.

Once all items are skewered, place them in a dish and pour Italian dressing over them, allowing to marinate for a few minutes to a few hours.

Prepare the grill by wiping it down with a paper towel soaked in oil.

Place the skewers on the grill and turn them occasionally while cooking.
