Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add chopped red onions; cook until translucent with a little crunch.
Add minced garlic and a bit more olive oil; stir until fragrant.
Add spices: paprika, chili powder, salt, black pepper, cumin, and red pepper flakes; toast in the pan.
Add cooked shredded chicken to soak up the spices.
Pour in 28-ounce can of crushed tomatoes and the entire can of cannellini beans without draining.
Add 3 cups of chicken base.
Stir in Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce; mix well.
Bring to a simmer and let it cook for at least an hour, stirring occasionally.
