Cook the spinach for about 4 minutes until it wilts down significantly.
If desired, add 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar right before serving for extra flavor.
Chop the cooked spinach on a cutting board to reduce the size of the pieces for use in dips.
