1

Cut and open packaging of the wonton wrappers. Peel the wrappers individually around 15-20 wrappers, place them in a small bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Set it to the side.

2

Cut the ends off the banana and peel the banana. Slice the banana into small round pieces. Place the bananas in a bowl and set to the side.

3

Cut the top stem off the persimmon, peel the skin off the persimmon. Cut the persimmon in half and remove the core. Dice the persimmon into small pieces and place into a small bowl. Add in the sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon powder, mix well and set to the side.

4

For the banana wonton, spread about a teaspoon of the hazelnut spread closer to the top corner of the wonton, place a slice piece of banana on top of the spread. Wet the outer edges with some water. Fold in half to form a triangle, pressing down on the wrapper closest to the filling moving outwards to remove as much air as possible.

5

For the persimmon wonton, fill the wonton with about a teaspoon of filling towards the center of the wrapper. Wet the outer edges with some water. Fold in half to form a triangle, pressing down on the wrapper closest to the filling moving outwards to remove as much air as possible. Repeat process.

6

In a deep pot or pan, fill with some oil. Heat the oil on low to medium low until the temperature reaches about 300 to 325 degrees F. Slowly place 2 to 3 wontons in the oil and fry about 20-30 seconds. Remove from the oil and drain on a cooling rack. Repeat until finish frying all the wontons.

7

Optional: Heat the caramel bits with a little bit of water and microwave for about 30 secs or util the caramel has melted. Follow the same steps above to fill and fry.

8

Serve on a platter and sprinkle some powder sugar over the wonton for a wonderful presentation. Enjoy!
