Million Dollar Dip

Toast a big handful of slivered almonds in a dry pan over medium heat until they start to smell toasted and get a little golden color, then transfer to a plate to cool completely.

Cook 6 strips of bacon in a cold pan over medium heat until crispy, waiting for it to get foamy to know when it's almost done. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to cool completely before chopping into bacon bits.

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, 1/2 pound of grated sharp cheddar cheese (half orange and half white), chopped bacon, thinly sliced green onions, and a few shakes of cayenne pepper.

Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.

Add the cooled toasted almonds to the mixture and continue mixing until everything is thoroughly combined.

Refrigerate the dip for at least an hour before serving, longer is better, even overnight.

Transfer the dip into a serving bowl and garnish with more green onions and crispy bacon on top.

Serve with crackers, preferably a type like Ritz.
