Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add chorizo to the skillet and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
Pour BBQ sauce mixture over chorizo and vegetables; stir to combine.
Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until heated through.
Slice bocadillo bread in half lengthwise.
Fill each half with the chorizo and BBQ mixture.
Top with cheese, avocado, and cilantro.
Squeeze lime juice over the filling before serving.
Serve warm with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
