2 small onions, chopped

3 sticks of celery, chopped

1 small dried chilli

Put 2 cups of lentils in a pot and bring them to a boil for 10 minutes.

Change the water after boiling to get rid of the brown water.

In another pot, heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil.

Add chopped onions to the olive oil and sauté until they soften.

Add garlic and cook for another 5 minutes.

Chop 1 small dried chilli and add it to the pot.

Add enough water to cover the lentils and vegetables by about 2 inches.

Once the lentils are boiled and cleaned, combine them with the sautéed vegetables.

Finish the soup with a touch of apple cider vinegar and a dash of extra virgin olive oil.
