State the ingredients needed: Bavarian rye bread, brie cheese, mozzarella cheese, prosciutto, room temperature butter, honey, and a ginger Gold apple.
Slice the mozzarella cheese and recommend grating it for better melting.
Slice the brie cheese into thin pieces.
Slice the ginger Gold apple into thin slices, reserving some for snacking.
Butter one side of the first slice of bread generously.
Place the buttered slice of bread in a cold pan.
Layer grated mozzarella cheese on top of the bread in the pan.
Add prosciutto to cover the mozzarella cheese.
Place apple slices on top of the prosciutto.
Drizzle honey over the apple slices.
Layer the sliced brie cheese on top of the apples.
Butter the other side of the second slice of bread and place it on top, butter-side up.
Turn the heat to a little higher than medium and let it cook for a few minutes until the cheese starts to melt.
Cover the sandwich with a lid to help the cheese melt and press down slightly with tongs.
Wait for about three minutes until the bottom is golden brown before flipping the sandwich.
Carefully flip the sandwich using tongs to avoid losing ingredients.
Cook the other side for another three minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove the sandwich from the pan and let it sit for a minute to allow the cheese to finish melting.
Slice the sandwich in half and enjoy.
