Rinse the rice until the water runs clear.

Drain the rice.

Peel the carrot and cut into thin small pieces.

Slice the shiitake mushroom thinly.

Rehydrate the dried hijiki with water if using.

Make the sauce by mixing 1 tablespoon of sake, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of bouillon, and a dash of dashi powder.

Put the drained rice into the rice cooker pot.

Add 200 ml of water and the pre-made sauce to the rice.

Mix well.

Add the cut carrot, sliced shiitake mushrooms, and rehydrated hijiki to the rice cooker, spreading evenly.

Add the sliced pork and spread evenly.
