Warm milk in a saucepan until lukewarm.
Dissolve yeast in the warm milk and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down the risen dough and divide it into equal pieces.
Shape each piece into a roll and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cover the rolls and let them rise again for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brush the tops of the rolls with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and hollow sounding when tapped.
Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
