While the pasta cooks, zest the lemons and set the zest aside.

Juice the lemons into a bowl, removing any seeds.

In a separate bowl, combine the lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and black pepper.

Once the pasta is cooked, reserve some pasta water and drain the rest.
