100g sourdough starter discard
450g plain flour
2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
185g milk
300g cream

Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour & baking powder, then make a well in the centre.

Add the sourdough starter, milk and cream to the flour, then using a knife, mix the dough until there is no visible flour.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured bench top and bring together gently.

Pat the dough out until it’s approximately 2cm thick.

Using a 6cm circle cutter, cut circles of dough and place onto the lined baking tray spacing them 1cm apart.

Brush the tops lightly with milk and bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until lightly golden on top.

Once cooked, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on a cooling rack.
