- ●1/4 cup maple syrup (for serving)
Instructions
- 1In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 2In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter until well combined.
- 3Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- 4Fold in the chopped bacon into the batter.
- 5Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
- 6Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
- 7Carefully flip the pancake and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- 8Once flipped, add a dollop of cream cheese in the center of the pancake before it finishes cooking.
- 9Remove the pancake from the skillet and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter.
- 10Serve the stuffed pancakes warm, drizzled with maple syrup.

- 3Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, sage, thyme, and cayenne pepper.
- 4Mix all the ingredients until well combined, but do not overmix.
- 5Form the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- 6Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil to prevent sticking.
- 7Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
- 8Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest on a paper towel to absorb excess grease.
- 9Serve warm as part of a breakfast or brunch.
