Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Drain the hominy and place it in a mixing bowl.

Add the cream of mushroom soup to the hominy.

Add half a jar of cheese whiz and green chilies to the mixture.

Mix well to combine all ingredients.

Add 1 teaspoon of cumin and 1 teaspoon of garlic to the mixture and stir.

Pour the mixture into a 10-inch cast iron skillet.

Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until bubbly.

Remove from the oven and crush tortilla chips on top.

Return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
