Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl; cover with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled, about 1-2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) with a baking stone or tray inside.
Punch down the risen dough and divide it into equal portions.
Roll each portion into a flat circle about 1/4 inch thick.
Transfer the dough rounds onto parchment paper and let them rest for 15 minutes.
Carefully place the dough on the hot baking stone or tray in the oven.
Bake for 5-7 minutes until puffed and lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and cover with a clean towel to keep warm.
