Boil black beans in water for about 2 hours until soft and tender.
Transfer boiled black beans to a bowl.
Add vegetable oil to a pan and heat it up.
Add chopped onions to the pan and brown them slightly.
Add garlic paste to the onions and cook until fragrant.
Add chopped tomato to the pan and let it cook a bit.
Season with paprika and adjust salt as needed, considering the black beans are already salted.
Cover the mixture and add a bit of water to soften the ingredients further.
Once satisfied with the cooking, add the black beans back into the pan and mix everything together.
Add more water to create some soup for a toddler, ensuring it’s not too dry.
Cover and let it boil on low heat for about 10 minutes before serving.
