Today, variations exist across the Middle East, with many families adding their own spices and ingredients, making it a cherished staple in homes and restaurants alike.

Wash the rice thoroughly and drain the water.
Heat oil in a pot, about 2 tablespoons.
Add the washed rice to the pot and stir.
Add water to the pot, enough to cover the rice.
Add Maggie seasoning and salt to the pot.
Cover the pot and cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, check if the rice is ready and let it sit for another 10-15 minutes before serving.
