Today, variations abound, with flavors ranging from chocolate chip cookie dough to berry blast, making them a versatile treat enjoyed by many.

Fresh fruit adds moisture and flavor.
Fill the dried fruits (cranberries, apricots, prunes) with water for 15 minutes.
Cut the dried fruits into pieces with a knife.
Add the dried cranberries to the mixture.
Lightly fry the almonds and cut them into pieces.
Add the almonds to the mixture.
Lightly fry the peanuts and cut them into pieces.
Add the peanuts to the mixture.
Lightly fry the hazelnuts and cut them into pieces.
Add the hazelnuts to the mixture.
Lightly fry the pumpkin seeds and add them to the mixture.
Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa to the mixture and mix it up.
Take 2 bananas and mash them until smooth.
Add the mashed bananas to the mixture and mix it up.
Add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or jerusalem artichoke syrup and mix it again.
Place the mixture in a baking sheet lined with parchment (32 cm x 21 cm).
Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180 C (360 F).
Melt 100 gr. (2/3 cup) dark chocolate without sugar in a water bath.
Add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to the melted chocolate and mix it up.
Transfer the chocolate to a piping bag.
Decorate the bars with the melted chocolate and garnish with dried cranberries.
Refrigerate for 10 minutes before cutting into pieces.
