Pour 2 cups of great northern beans into water to soak.
After soaking, drain and rinse the beans.
In a pot, boil the soaked beans for about 10 minutes and check for doneness.
Add garlic to the boiling beans and a capful of apple cider vinegar to help tenderize them.
Season the seafood (shrimp, grouper, scallops) with salt, Jamaican fish seasoning, 21 season salute, garlic powder, and black pepper; add extra virgin olive oil and let marinate.
Check the beans; they should be softening. Add half of the Maggie soup mix to the beans for flavor.
Prepare vegetables by peeling potatoes and carrots, and cutting them up; add okra to the mix.
Add the remaining Maggie soup mix, thyme, and pimento seeds to the beans.
Once the beans are soft, add 1 cup of coconut milk and stir.
Chop garlic and scallions; add them to the stew along with the potatoes, carrots, and okra.
Prepare dumplings (spinners) using 1 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of cornmeal, and a pinch of salt; mix with water to make a dough.
Roll the dumpling dough and drop it into the stew.
Allow the stew to simmer until all ingredients are cooked through and flavors are combined.
