Pomegranate juice offers a natural sweetness with fewer additives.
Add crushed ice into a cocktail shaker.
Pour 2 ounces of tequila into the shaker.
Add 1 ounce of orange liqueur to the shaker.
Pour in 8 ounces of orange juice.
Shake the mixture for about 15 to 20 seconds.
Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass until it just about touches the rim.
Slowly pour 0.5 ounces of grenadine around in a circular motion into the glass.
Garnish with a slice of orange and a couple of maraschino cherries.
