Chill the batter for a minimum of 12 hours up to 24 hours.

Brush the inside of the frozen canelé mold with butter.

Pour the batter into each cup, filling them about 2/3 of the way.

Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 375°F and bake for another 35 minutes.
