Smoked Maple Chicken Thighs

4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1/4 tsp smoked paprika

Take the chicken thighs and peel the skin back.

Scrape off any excess fat and trim around the thighs.

Sprinkle the chicken thighs with kosher salt, pepper, garlic, and parsley.

Put the skin back over the chicken thighs.

Take some tinfoil loaf pans and put a little bit of butter at the bottom.

Add a little bit of the marinade to the pans and place the chicken thighs inside.

Put the pans inside the Bradley Digital smoker at 225 degrees for an hour and a half.

After an hour and a half, take the chicken thighs out and dip them in the marinade.

Put the chicken thighs directly on the rack with a magic mat.

Let the chicken cook for an hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
