Versez un peu d'huile d'olive dans une marmite ou une cocotte minute.
Ajoutez un petit bol de fève sèche décortiquée.
Ajoutez une tête d'ail entière épluchée.
Ajoutez une cuillère à café de sel.
Ajoutez une cuillère à café de poivre noir.
Ajoutez une cuillère à café de cumin.
Mélangez bien les ingrédients.
Versez un litre d'eau de préférence chaude pour accélérer la cuisson.
Laissez cuire à feu moyen pendant environ 1h15 ou moins si vous utilisez une cocotte minute.
Une fois les fèves bien tendres, mixez le tout à l'aide d'un mixeur plongeant ou d'une moule INEX jusqu'à obtenir une purée lisse et homogène.
Ajustez la consistance avec un peu d'eau chaude si nécessaire.
Servez la Bissara chaude dans des bols avec un filet d'huile d'olive sur le dessus, accompagné de pain frais.
