3 cloves garlic
4 oz bacon
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 whole chicken
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup white wine
2 cups chicken stock
2 cups fresh tomatoes
1/4 cup fresh basil
1 lemon

Use the whites and light green parts of leeks.

Use 2 or 3 cloves of garlic, whole and peeled.

Cut a lemon in half for juice.

Cut bacon ends from Pine Street Market.

Add a splash of olive oil to the pan.

Generously salt the chicken on both front and back.

Sear the chicken in the pan for 5 minutes, then flip it.

Add vegetables to the pan after flipping the chicken.
