Mash and mix the ingredients thoroughly until they form a cohesive dough-like mixture.
Take portions of the mixture and shape them into rib-like forms using your hands, ensuring they are evenly shaped and sized.
Place the formed 'ribs' into the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
Cover the air fryer basket with foil to prevent excessive browning initially.
Air fry the ribs at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes, keeping them covered with foil.
After 20 minutes, carefully remove the foil covering the ribs.
Brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce.
Continue air frying the ribs uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes, brushing with more BBQ sauce every few minutes to create a glaze and enhance flavor.
Once the ribs are nicely browned and crispy on the edges, remove them from the air fryer.
Serve the hot and delicious vegan ribs, and savor the savory, smoky flavors!
