Place the wings on grill mats in the smoker, leaving gaps between them.

Smoke the wings for about 1.5 hours, checking them after an hour to ensure they are cooking properly.

While the wings are smoking, prepare the buffalo sauce by melting 1 stick of butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Add 12 fluid ounces of Sweet Baby Ray's hot sauce to the melted butter and mix well.

After 1.5 hours, remove the wings from the smoker.

Heat oil in a fryer to 350°F (177°C).
