Cherry Vanilla Heaven Dessert

Prepare the cherries by pitting and halving them.

In a small saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, and lemon juice; cook over medium heat until the cherries soften, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in warm water and set aside.

In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.

Add heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese; mix until well combined.

Stir in the dissolved gelatin into the cream mixture until fully incorporated.

Layer the cherry mixture at the bottom of a serving dish.

Pour the cream mixture over the cherries, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.

Once set, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Garnish with toasted almonds before serving.
