In a large bowl combine milk, eggs, salt, onion powder, and pepper.

Place 2-3 pieces of bread on the bottom of a greased 9”x9” baking dish. Bottom of dish should be entirely covered.

Sprinkle with 1/2 of the cheddar cheese. Place another layer of bread on top of that. Alternately you can tear bread slices into stuffing-sized pieces instead of using whole slices, continuing to layer as you would for sliced bread.

Pour egg-milk mixture over the top and then sprinkle with remaining cheddar and parmesan. Allow to sit for 30 minutes or more to allow bread to soak up milk mixture.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until top is browned and slightly puffy.
