Jalapeno Bagels Recipe

In a medium bowl, add warm water, yeast, salt, and sugar, and whisk until combined.

Add all-purpose flour and cut up jalapenos to the mixture, and mix until a dough forms.

If the dough isn't forming, add a little more warm water gradually until it does, being careful not to add too much at once.

Once the dough is formed, mix in dried red peppers thoroughly throughout the dough.

Let the dough sit for 10 minutes, then cut it into six even pieces.

Shape each piece into a round ball and create a hole in the center with a butter knife to form bagels.

Cover the shaped bagels with a damp towel and let them sit in a warm spot for around one and a half hours.

Boil water and add the bagels for 15 to 30 seconds until they float.
