2 cups Warm Water
1 tbsp Yeast
2 tbsp Sugar
1/2 tbsp Salt
1/2 cup Canola Oil
5 cups Flour
1 Jalapeno
3 cups Cheese
herb and garlic seasoning (optional)

In a stand mixer bowl put in the warm water, yeast, sugar, salt and oil mix until completely dissolved.

Add in flour, chopped jalapeno and 1 1/2 cups cheese. Reserve 1 1/2 cups cheese for bagel topping.

Mix until you have a smooth dough. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

Form dough into bagels and put unto parchment paper lined cookie sheet and set aside.

Fill a large pot half full of water and add in a tbsp of molasses or honey bring to boil.

Boil bagels for 25 seconds per side. put bagels back on cookie sheet and brush with egg wash.

sprinkle with cheese and herb and garlic seasoning.

Preheat oven to 400℉ and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from heat and let cool.
