Strain the blended mixture through a strainer for extra smoothness
Add sugar and salt to taste, blending to dissolve
Taste the sauce and adjust sugar and salt as needed
Optionally add cumin for extra flavor
Taste again to ensure balance of tartness, spiciness, and sweetness
