1

Start by preparing the ingredients: 500 grams of beef liver, fresh parsley, fresh marjoram, nutmeg (optional), salt, 1 egg, fried diced onion, pepper, and 2-3 bread rolls.

2

Soak the bread rolls in warm milk, adding a little at a time to avoid making the mixture too wet.

3

Cut the liver into small pieces to fit into the KitchenAid, then process it until it's mushy.

4

After soaking, add the soaked bread rolls to a large bowl.

5

Add the processed liver, egg, fresh parsley, nutmeg (if using), fried diced onion, salt, and pepper to the bowl.

6

Mix everything together until well combined, using your hands if necessary.

7

If the mixture is too wet, add plain breadcrumbs to help with consistency.

8

Refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour to firm up.

9

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

10

Use two spoons to shape the dumplings and drop them into the simmering water.

11

Once the dumplings are in the pot, they will sink to the bottom and then float to the surface when cooked.

12

Let the dumplings cook for about 10 minutes after they float to the top.

13

Check one dumpling to ensure it is cooked through; if it is still red, cook for a little longer.

14

Serve the dumplings in beef broth, optionally adding vegetables to the broth for extra flavor.
