1

Cut 800 g of ground beef into small cubes, removing fat and unwanted parts.

2

Peel and cut 2 potatoes into small cubes.

3

Chop 3 medium onions into small pieces.

4

Boil the potatoes in a pot.

5

Add some butter or lard to a pan and heat it up, then add the chopped onions with a pinch of salt.

6

Once the potatoes are soft but still hold their shape, remove them from the heat and transfer to another container.

7

In the same pan with the onions, add more butter and the beef, cooking for a few minutes.

8

Boil 2 eggs until hard-boiled.

9

When the beef is gray, add the onions back in and mix well, then add the potatoes and season with cumin and paprika.

10

Once everything is ready, remove from heat and let it cool until the fat is solid.

11

Once cooled, mix in the chopped hard-boiled eggs.

12

To assemble the empanadas, take a dough circle and place 2 tablespoons of filling in the center, fold it in half and crimp the edges to seal.

13

Place the empanadas on a baking sheet with oil.

14

Bake in a medium oven for about 30 minutes.
