Place 2 ears of corn in the microwave.

Carefully remove the corn from the microwave (they will be extremely hot).

Let the corn set for a few minutes on a cutting board.

Cut off the stock end of the corn, ensuring to cut off at least one row of corn.

Squeeze the corn from the other end to remove it from the cob, taking the corn silk with it.

Serve the corn with butter, salt, and pepper to taste.
