Score the sides of the chicken legs and thighs to help the seasoning soak in.
Season the chicken with salt, minced onion, Tony's Creole seasoning, Cayenne pepper, adobo seasoning, coarse ground black pepper, and Chief brand all purpose seasoning.
Add minced garlic (equivalent to 2 cloves) and green seasoning to the chicken.
Incorporate fresh shadow bay leaves, scotch bonnet pepper, habanero pepper, and Habanero Trinidad scorpion lime pepper sauce into the chicken mixture.
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and refrigerate for a couple of hours to marinate.
Prepare the barbecue sauce by combining ketchup (1/2 cup), Bulls-eye barbecue sauce, mushroom soy sauce, and orange juice in a bowl.
Add smoked paprika, green seasoning, and water (1/2 cup) to the barbecue sauce mixture and mix well.
Put the barbecue sauce on low to medium heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place the marinated chicken on foil, ensuring all seasoning is included.
Cover the chicken with foil and bake in the oven for 35 minutes.
After 35 minutes, remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bake the chicken for an additional 20 minutes.
Once done, flip the chicken and baste it with the barbecue sauce.
Flip the chicken back and baste the other side with the sauce.
Put the chicken under the broiler for about 5-6 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
Remove the chicken once it has a nice caramelized color and is cooked perfectly.
