In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add molasses and eggs to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them 2 inches apart.
