Spray the cake pan with cooking spray or lightly coat it with cooking oil.

Crack an egg into the cake pan, ensuring no shell pieces are left (use another eggshell to scoop out any shell).

Pull out the air fryer basket and place the cake pan with the egg inside.

Slide the basket back into the air fryer.

Set the air fryer to 375°F (176°C) and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, checking for doneness.

If the egg is still jiggly, cook for an additional 30 seconds and check again.

Once cooked to your liking, carefully remove the cake pan from the air fryer and slide the egg out.
