Preheat oil in a 9-inch stainless steel frying pan over medium heat.
Pour the noodle mixture into the hot oil, spreading it evenly.
Cover the pan and cook for 20-25 minutes until the edges start browning.
Check for crispiness; if browned, prepare to flip the kugel.
Use a plate larger than the pan to flip the kugel; place the plate over the pan and invert it to flip.
Return the kugel to the pan to cook the other side without covering it.
Cook for an additional 15 minutes on medium-low heat until crispy.
Remove from heat and cut a slice to serve.
