Wash and peel the potato. Cut and slice it evenly as possible.

Add the sliced potatoes into the boiling water. Turn off heat and leave the potatoes in the hot water for 6-8 minutes.

Scoop potato slices in between paper towels to dry.

Transfer into a bowl, add oil and salt. Mix it well making sure each piece got coated.

Arrange in the air fryer basket and cook at 400 F preheated air fryer for 20-25 minutes. Check halfway through cooking time to see if the fries need to be flipped on the other side.
