In a large bowl, add 2.5 cups of Bisquick.
Add 1.5 teaspoons of garlic powder to the Bisquick and whisk to combine.
Cut 4 tablespoons of cold butter into small cubes and add to the mixture.
Use a pastry cutter to break up the butter until it resembles pea-sized bits.
Add 3/4 cup of whole milk to the mixture and fold together.
Add 1.25 cups of freshly shredded cheddar cheese and mix until just combined.
Prepare a parchment-lined baking sheet and drop spoonfuls of dough onto it, making six large biscuits.
Ensure the biscuits are about the same size and not touching each other on the baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 12 to 14 minutes until lightly browned.
Melt butter and mix with garlic, parsley, and a little salt for basting.
Remove the biscuits from the oven and baste with the garlic butter mixture immediately.
