Slice the medium onion thinly and break it up with fingers.

Cut 4 small tomatoes into thick slices and add to the bowl with cucumbers and onions.
Roll fresh basil leaves and cut into thin ribbons, then add to the bowl.
In a mason jar, combine 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 3/4 tablespoon Dijon mustard, and a splash of maple syrup.
Add dried thyme, dried oregano, dried parsley, salt, pepper, lemon juice, vinegar, and 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese to the jar.
Crush 2 garlic cloves into the jar and shake until combined.
Pour the dressing over the salad and stir well.
Let the salad sit in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving for best flavor.
