Originating from the indigenous communities of Colombia, Pan de Yuca is a beloved snack made from yuca flour and cheese. Traditionally enjoyed with coffee, these cheesy bread rolls are a staple in Colombian households. Today, they are popular in various Latin American countries and have found a place in international cuisine, often served as appetizers or snacks.

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2In a mixing bowl, combine yuca flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  4. 4Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until combined.
  5. 5Fold in the cheese until evenly distributed.
  6. 6Shape the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  7. 7Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. 8Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed.
