Sprinkle salt over the cucumber slices and let them sit on paper towels for about 20 minutes to draw out moisture.

After 20 minutes, prepare the spread by mixing 1 stick of butter and 8 ounces of cream cheese together.

Add half a teaspoon of white pepper to the spread and mix well.

Spread the cream cheese mixture onto two slices of white bread.

Arrange the cucumber slices on top of the spread on one slice of bread.

Top with the second slice of bread, butter side down.

Use a small serrated knife to cut off the crusts from the edges of the sandwich.

Cut the sandwich down the middle and then into quarters for easier eating.
