Chocolate Covered Cream Cheese Figs

8 oz cream cheese
8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Wash and rinse the figs thoroughly.

Make a small incision at the base of each fig.

Stuff each fig with cream cheese, using about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per fig.

Chill the stuffed figs in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Melt the milk chocolate.

Prepare a sheet of parchment paper.

Dip each fig in the melted chocolate, rotating to cover completely.
