Honey adds natural sweetness, while brown sugar provides a richer flavor.

Start by cutting jalapenos into rings, optionally removing seeds for less heat.

Add 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar to a saucepan.

Add 3/4 cup sugar to the saucepan with the vinegar.

Add 3/4 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, and 1/2 teaspoon ginger to the saucepan.

Stir the mixture and bring it to a boil.

Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer.

Add the sliced jalapenos to the saucepan and stir to combine.

Simmer the jalapenos for 4 minutes.

Using a fork, remove the jalapenos from the saucepan and place them into jars.

Pour the remaining liquid over the jalapenos in the jars.

Seal the jars and store them in the refrigerator.
